An article on the BBC explains that there has been a significant rise in the number of sales of eBooks. Sales are still rising, no matter what type of eBook, whether it is for amazon kindle or just one that you purchased and download on your computer.

One of the reasons that the sales of eBooks are rapidly increasing, is that many more people are starting to buy electronics readers that allow them to download and read eBooks.

90% of Affiliate Marketers Fail, Make Sure You Don't!

That's right... I said it. It is true that around 90% of people who start affiliate marketing do not succeed. There's several reasons for why this is, but the main one, the only huge reason, is that people just don't take action.

If A 12 Year Old Can Do It... So Can You!

A 12 year old boy living in the UK was suspended from school for selling sweets to other pupils. Now most of who have now automatically thought, "well their sweets, it's probably pocket change, i don't go to school anymore, i'm too old for that."

I'm not really pointing out the method he used, i'm trying to point out his attitude. This boy was making $200 profit a week. He was paying his friends $5 each everyday to go out and sell his sweets for him. He saw that people his age wanted to have sweets whilst at school and he took it into his own hands to supply them. He was able to manage it well employing several friends and knew exactly what he was doing (until he got suspended).

However this isn't really about this particular thing he was doing. After he was suspended from school he was able to make $80 within a few days from buying job lots of CD's on eBay and trading them in to music magpie, a company in the UK that buys old CD's and games. He went from one system he was running to finding another one within a couple of days! Just by looking on the internet, observing and identifying an opportunity where money could be made. Then he took action.

It just goes to show that no matter how old you are, if you look hard enough and spend time observing, anything is possible.

Aweber Or MailChimp For Email Marketing?

If you use email marketing, you will have definitely heard of Aweber and MailChimp. But which is the best to use?

Design Forms: In terms of the forms you can use, MailChimp is a lot better if you are someone who is good at designing. Your are aloud to design your forms entirely from scratch, however they do have templates to be able to create a professional looking form. If you use Aweber, you will be encouraged to use one of their templates and customisation may require some level of skill to be able to avoid this.

Email Tracking: When it comes to tracking, Aweber is the far better option. Everything you would want to know is shown to you. You are able to see exactly who of your subscribers has opened your emails and which links they have clicked on. MailChimp however, only uses a very basic system, based on stars. Stars are shown next to each of your subscribers to vaguely show how interested they are by your emails.

Pricing: The good thing about Mailchimp is that they offer a free trial period for up to 500 subscribers. Aweber is on the whole, more expensive than MailChimp.

I haven't mentioned the support quality or the best auto responder. Aweber, without a doubt, has the best support. As for the auto responder, it is a tough call, as both companies offer great auto responders.

Overall I would have to say that Aweber is the best option available. Almost everything is of a higher quality. If you do not have a lot of money to start up with then maybe MailChimp is the best option for you, however if price isn't a problem I definitely recommend Aweber.
